Sometimes the best S&T needs to target causative factors not yet recognized as connected to an entirely different agenda 

Wars need 4 basic natural resources:  energy, frequency (navigational signal), fuel, and raw materials.

If someone asked us how to limit global warming, we would probably start with limiting war. They contaminate the environment, kill off hundreds of species, drain world acquifers, and exploite amazing amounts of energy. Each missile test or explosion - especially from China, Russia, and North Korea (no environmental controls) - spews toxic waste into the soil and into choking clouds of often radioative material eroding our atmosphere.

Looking deeper and thinking differently gives rise to true, no-box solutions.
